Taiwan president Ma Ying-jeou was on hand to witness Jen marry her long-time sweetheart, 39-year-old lawyer Richard Chang, on Monday in a lavish wedding celebration at a luxury hotel in Taipei.
And so were Jen's many, many celebrity friends.
S.H.E group mates Hebe Tien and Ella Chen, Taiwan singers Wang Li Hom, Christine Fan, Jolin Tsai as well as television hosts Patty Hou, along with Dee and Barbie Hsu were among the almost 1000 guests who filled up the 88 banquet tables at Jen's wedding.
Jen, who turned 30 that same day, walked down the aisle in a gorgeous white dress and crystal slippers custom-made for the occasion into Chang's arms, even though the burns she suffered in a filming accident last year made it painfully difficult for her to keep on her feet.
However, after that segment, she spent the remainder of the evening seated on a white sofa, while resting her feet on a footstool, revealing the special protective clothing she still wore to help her recover from her burns.
Even the exchanging of rings was done with Jen remaining seated.
Indeed, 375 days after she suffered severe burns in a filming accident on the set of "I Have A Date With Spring", there were still many reminders of the accident during the wedding.
The most poignant reminder was how Jen could only wear her wedding band on her left hand's little finger instead of on her ring finger, because the thick protective gloves she still had to wear, made it an impossible fit.
But Jen didn't seem to mind.
She constantly held her husband's hand and exchanged loving looks with him throughout the joyous celebration.
Later in the evening, for the first time in a long while, S.H.E performed as a group on stage - Jen stood up with her two bridesmaids Tien and Chen to sing "Falling for You" at her wedding.
